Service And Support Plan

KGK Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) ensures regular maintenance and support for products  over the year. This typically covers regular preventive maintenance visits and if required, repairs and replacement of spare parts.

KGK AMC's key features:

  • Duration: The duration is typically one year, with options for renewal.
  • Scope : Usually three preventive maintenance visits and one additional visit in case of breakdown, can be customised based on usage of machine.
  • Cost:  Varies based on the location of the KGK machine installed, usage and the engineer's base location.
  • Coverage: AMCs usually cover Service charges. Comprehensive AMC to include replacement of spare parts can also be provided
  • Response: KGK  promises a 24-hour response time for breakdown calls. Telephonic support is provided round the clock to support the customer’s production.
For customers not opting for AMC, KGK arranges service engineer visit on Per Day Charge basis, after understanding the errors through phone or video call.

KGK sets the machine to the ideal settings for the customer to achieve optimal performance. Over time, the machine shifts from its ideal setting due to usage of machine in varying environments and operating conditions. During the SMS visit, the KGK engineer checks over 40 parameters to make sure the machine is back to its correct settings. Preventive maintenance visits guarantee high operational efficiency and minimal production losses.

KGK Jet keeps detailed customer machine records through SMS, ensuring timely support. Before service alerts appear, the KGK Service team will get in touch with the operator.

Eliminates operators' errors
SMS is intended to give a precise health status to assure timely action even when the operator disregards alerts that can be harmful for the machine's health. By scheduling appointments at customers' convenience, the KGK engineer prevents any possibility of production loss.

SMS, a diagnostic tool built into all KGK Jet CIJ machines, helps to draw the service team's attention to regular preventive maintenance. The conductivity of ink and solvent can be compromised by exposure to external environments. Preventive maintenance maximizes uptime and increases production.

The alerts have been researched and programmed by KGK for 90 days, and the machine displays an alert about the days remaining for the preventive maintenance. 10 days prior to Due date, the KGK service team will contact customers for preventive maintenance and take appointment as per convenient time and day.

KGK's sole goal is to prevent breakdowns rather than fix them. By inspecting the 40 parameters prescribed, the service engineer carries out preventive maintenance at the customer's location. SMS ensures that customers receive maximum machine uptime without any production losses.

Even if operator ignore the alerts, KGK service team contacts customer in time and plan preventive maintenance along with machine operator.

Filters and pumps may be severely damaged by contaminated fluids over a period. The conductive nature of ink and solvent means that any damage to the pump can result in short circuits and motherboard damage.
The pumps and filters in the KGK machine are made to handle specific viscosity, so it's recommended to avoid using expired and non-standard fluids as customers may face production and resulting financial losses.

The task can be finished and the machine can be set to its optimal performance within hours. However Customers are free to choose a time that suits them.
